Chinese holiday assignment

Dear parents,

The children received a copy of their Chinese holiday assignment on Thursday, accompanied by a cover page and a blue file checklist. The holiday assignment includes the following:

1) 量词小图书：The cover page should include the child's name with some decorations designed by your child.

2) 写一写、画一画：练习（二）及练习（三）

3) 《好朋友》第十九期：阅读诗歌及短文，做适合小一的练习题。

4) 创意写作：假如您的孩子对写作（包括诗歌）、书签设计有兴趣，请鼓励他们提笔创作。

Please guide your child in completing the holiday assignment. When school reopens, please pack the following into your child's bag:

a) Items (1) to (5) as outlined above

b) Chinese blue file, together with the blue file checklist, which is printed on the other side of the cover page that was given to your child yesterday.

c) 1B Chinese textbook, activity book, and Chinese character cards ( apologies if your child did not bring 1A character cards back, as I intend to do a revision with them using these cards during the first week of term 3).

I will start collecting the above materials on the first day of school term 3, the due date for submission of Chinese holiday assignment is 30 June, Tuesday.
